As an off campus student I find it hard to find a good quiet lounge or study area for down time between classes. Torg or Squires can be out of the way and residential buildings are not accessible. (Lounges for: comfort, internet/electricity access, etc)
I do believe that there are always open classrooms you could probably do work in. Or the Johnson Student Center, right in the middle of the Academic buildings. lawlzzz
