Lack of Study Lounges
I feel it should be necessary for every academic building on campus to have a study lounge furnished with tables and chairs and also computers and a printer. I pay too much money to attend this school to have to sit on the cold, hard floor after one of my classes andwait the 60 minutes for my next. Would it be too difficult to take a classroom furnish it with tables, chairs, 3 or 4 computers, and possibly a couch?

msmith89, I agree to a certain extent. Space is a big issue on campus, but the University cannot designate space in every building for studying. There is just too much demand. However, SGA is working on making Torgersen 24/7, and we are trying to enhance broadband coverage in the already existing study areas on campus. The University should allow us to have study access in buildings 24/7. If you want to talk more, let's meet up. My e-mail is brandoncarroll@vt.edu. I am here for and because of you.

Thank you,
Brandon
